Workbench enables you to use the automation section to create an barcode scanning automation to update a status for multiple scans in bulk.

Step 1: Go to workbench

Step 2: Click on Automations

Step 3: Click Create automation

Step 4: Name & select the status change you wish to conduct
​
Step 5: Launch the automation & state who you are

​What if I want to have a generic user for the automation instead of a certain person?
​
You can create a user called "Models Room Station" and then this can tell the system it's always that station that is doing the scanning.

How to add technicians to your automation?

Click on "Automation Settings' on the right hand side in the workbench space.

You can then add the people who you would like to select as an option to be running the automation.
